Effective immediately, visitors to The Somerset Hills School District may be asked to show a photo ID upon arrival. Additionally, as a reminder, all visitors are required sign in at the main office, state the purpose of the visit, wear a visitor’s badge, sign out, and return the visitor’s badge when leaving.

Pete Miller, SuperintendentThis summer, the SCESC (Alternative School) will again offer our rising senior students the opportunity to complete their Life Skills/Physical Education 12 requirement over the summer. Rising seniors who take summer Physical Education and Health will be able to add a class or study hall to their list of requests in place of their Physical Education and Health requirement. They will only be permitted to enroll in the additional class if there is a seat available.
Interested students must complete the BHS Option Two Summer PE Application as well as the SCESC Registration Form. When the forms are completed and signed, please bring them to the Guidance Department along with a check made payable to “Somerset County Educational Services Commission” or fill in the credit card information on the SCESC registration form. Our Guidance Department will mail the registration/payment to the Alternative School.

Your child should have received an appointment for a Portrait sitting from Lifetouch. Please look for that information in the mail.
- Dress should be more formal (boys: jacket and tie girls: nice top/blouse/sweater)
Information for creating new PowerSchool (Grades and Attendance) and SchoolFusion (Website) accounts was sent to the homes of all new students in the first week of school. If you have an existing PowerSchool Single Sign-On account or a SchoolFusion account, you can add students to that account rather than creating a new one.
